ModConfig("DarthPresidente","MagicForest", {
   -- Number of Trees To Plant
   TreesToPlant = 75,
   -- How long the trees take to grow
   TreeGrowthTime = 100,
   -- Radius to plant trees.
   GrowthRadius = 100
})

I too would like to have an option to have this regrow palm trees only. The broad leaf trees just don't look right on some maps.

Would you be willing to either post the source for this mod or add an option for the tree types to the config? I do some coding but I don't know lua. I've tried decompiling the mod to edit and I think the edit needed is pretty obvious but the decompiler is not able to give me totally accurate code. While I'd really like only palm trees I don't think I want it bad enough to learn lua and fix the code or make my own mod. I'm pretty sure I'd be ok if I just had the correct source. I, of course, understand if you have reason for not wanting to post it.

Thanks for your time. Your mods have really enhanced my enjoyment of Tropico. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

New Version: 2.0

As requested, the types of trees can be specified in the mod's config file.

I have also included a special treat for those brave enough to set all the trees to false in the config. Enjoy!

Outstanding! Even better than I had hoped for.

This will be a nice tool for people who want to customize the look of their island. Tropico 5 is kind of lacking in that department.

I won't give it away but I had a good laugh at the "special treat" in version 2.0 and then an even bigger one at the change in 2.1.

Thanks!!

I am glad you liked it! I hope others are as adventurous and give it a try.
